site on bikes

This one is interesting

Today i bought a bike. its a bajaj CT 100. and black one. i will be getting the vehicle this evening or tomorrow. i went for bajaj CT 100 because it suited for me, i wanted a bike, just a bike. I am not going for any fashion show or have to impress any females with a stylish bike.

Hope once i get comfortable in driving the vehicle, it should not eat my freedom on roads. I always liked walking on the roads.

Useful Virus Alert

Hi everyone

Sometime back I had mentioned that all of us need to double checko on all mails that come to us. These are normally such type of Warning mails which people react to like Srinivas has done here and it generates some of the biggest spam connections.

what u shd normally do when it get these sort of mails:

1. Go to the Symantec/Norton or other tech sites and figure out if they have placed any information on this.
2. Go to any of the HOAX buster or Urban Legend sites and figure out whether such a thing is true. For example, one such site that I go to is:
HBHoax Categories

3. In case you figure out that this is a false thing/hoax, just delete the mail and maybe go and tell other people abt it - verbally!!!

This is how Spammers work and they enjoy life like this.

The same applies to many of those mails like MARS, Mobile phones, Buddhist and Ganesha mails etc.

For example, if you look at the Symantec site for the above, u will find this:
life is beautiful virus

and Symantec wants you to be aware and not fall into the trap.

This is sometime I am repeating since spam costs companies a lot.

This is a new virus ! which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon WE NEED TO DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO STOP THIS VIRUS. Virudh - A love story

Last night i have seen "virudh" at forum from the first row at PVR. Thanks to suresh gade, because of him i do see movies on regular basis now a days.
It was a love story i liked much but ofcourse no spicy stuff or lust. just love of a family. story of a old couple through the words of their lost son. An excellent depiction by Mahesh Manjrekar. the portrayal of love of a mother,a father and most importantly how an accident could take away all the happiness of a blessed family. It was touching movie. Sanjay dutt role was upto the character it required. sharmila tagore and amitab have done well in their role of old couple.

Thing that is fascinating in this movie is that how parents could dare to fight with society against all the odds just to prove that their son was innocent. The love of parents for their beloved son who was killed by son of a home minister.

Nothing much about lust, though there was some pub scene, which got john abraham his gal. I dont understand why people go too mad at pubs. :-)

Very different movie from 'DUS' which i have seen at PVR itself last week with praveen, anitha and kalyani. That movie was a dummy action movie.

Some body told me its remake of "Aa naluguru" of telugu, but it is not.
Virudh is worth watching at PVR.

Listen, see and understand

Today we had a conf call with US office big guys about the component i have been working on. it was funny to see their comments. 2 guys from the senior management worrying much about a simple thing, why that particular one is there!. they were not happy with the reason behind it.

I was expecting them to be more matured, if they do not like particular part it, they can see other parts isnt it? just blabbering around the same thing for the full session making same point again and again.

its like this.

1)why this is there?
2)why this is there?
3)why this is there?

and so on....

and irony is that out of those 2 one wanted to have that particular part(Here it is a tree strcture). and he too joined the other guy to blame us, saying that things are not fine. How opportunist that person is?.

after all my lead Nanda kishore was saying "Boss is always right". its we the poor developers have to suffer.

Do we need one more god?

share international is a website proclaming that jesus is back. do we really need one more jesus?

Friends Forever

Forever Friends You Promised

"Friends Forever" you promised.
"together till the end"
We did everything with each other.
you were my best friend.

When i was sad, you were by my side.
when i was scared, you felt my fear.
You were my best support-
If i needed you, you were there.

You were the greatest friend,
You always knew what to say:
You made everything seem better.
As long as we had each other,
Everything would be okay.

But somewhere along tha line,
We slowly came apart.
I was here, you were there,
It tore a hole in my heart.

Things were changing,
Our cheerful music reversed its tune.
It was like having salt without pepper,
A sun without its moon.

Suddenly we were miles apart,
Two different people, with nothing the same.
Although we knew deep in our hearts
Neither of us was to blame.

You had made many knew friends
And luckily, so had i
But that didn't change the hurt-
The loss of our friendship made me cry

As we grow older, things must change
But they don't always have to end.
Even though its different, now,
You will always be my friend.

no drinks..

I am supposed to be in an alcoholic party now. there is a friend(ramakanth) birthday.
though he knows that i do not enjoy alcoholic treat especially. i told sorry for my absence. yes i tried drinking alcohols few times in life. i guess it should be single digit times, even i kept some snaps with bottles in my blogger. But i was not able to enjoy it. i didnt feel much about drinking or not drinking but the ambience of alcohol is making me sick.

might be some problem with me, but life got to go with our own comfort.

Big people simple mistakes big problems

Today when i got a mail from my boss asking me to work on something already fixed, because senior mgmt person at VA Office was not able to work with the component. The problem was a simple mistake on his part, he forgot to keep the supporting libraries in the libraries of the product. which has thrown some expected error.

It was very simple mistake, but causing distrubance for the full day, but i was confident that there should not be any problem with the work we have been doing.

The small lesson in hard way, when we grow big, we should be careful about the small things. Even elephant can be killed by small ants.

This week movie is Aparichithudu(And yes not Anniyan but aparichithudu). This particular movie is really good one. Vikram has done it one more time again.
I liked the movie. There was great fun, excellent stunts, songs were good and according to the context, there was love, romance and yes the pains and the exhilaration. There was the sound of the oppressed, the inner man of everyone of us, who wanted the society to be better and void of corruption, cruelty and cheating.

The Multiple personality disorder, as the doc's in the movie say, means having different personalities in same body, The "Ramu" original personality, "Aparichithudu" the revolutionary and the "Remo", lover boy. Vikram as "Ramu" payed the way for the other two. Director fine tuned the movie such a way that it turned out as a classic.

The sanskrit part of the movie "Garuda Puranam" interesting one. i didnt understand when adarsh forwaded me a mail saying "Garuda puranam" list of the punishments for the sins of the humans.

It was more than a RGV movie. Not much dirty noice, no lusty love and most importantly there is a social eleement, the fantasy form of the everybody "The aparichithudu". There is inner "me" in all of us which want to correct things. But often we tend to blame others for all the sins of the world.

The Jesus said "Let the first of you having no mistake throw the first stone".

Here is Aparichithudu in "Tamil" I was not able to find a valid telugu Aparichithudu.

Seems Producers and the distributors were "anniyan" scared of the "Aparichithudu". They didnt release "Aparichithudu" in bangalore along with "Anniyan" and also Aparichithudu website seems to be in pending.

Yes, the "Fear of the wrath" is required, it makes all of us to be on track, and do away from our sinful thoughts.

AP Govt is a joke

AP govt looks like a joke. I am feeling proud not to have casted my vote till now. I was proud of chandra babu being CM. he was doing something. But this YS Reddy govt is a waste one.

The state minister Mr. Botsa was saying "latest 11 crore scam of VW cars deal" as a silly thing. And when the facts seems to be very open Mr.Reddy just transfered this particular minister from his ministry and asked for CBI enquery.

This political leaders are just trying to save their face. Ofcourse i do not have any particular enthusiasm or confidence in this guys. What i just expect from our political leaders is that they not to distrub the ongoing development activities. Things will happen on their own as long as govt not involves with the good things.

I do understand the govt is a bigger organization and it is simply not that easy to run the govt. But an integrated personality will never make stupid statements like Mr YSR has done. He said He will eradicate factionism and within months he killed paritala. Seems like he is thinking he is the CM for the state only for the benefit of the Congress. Everyday TRS people are giving all idiotic statements without any meaning. And still Mr. Reddy keeps mum.

The only hurdle to Telangana region is the TRS alone. This is the fact. I hate people to get advantage of the weaker sections. Mr. KCR got this enlightenment all of sudden? right in hid mid life? what the hell he was doing all his life?.

I have particular hatredness for this guys who just talk but not do anything.
I appreciate them being good orators but not of any use to the general public with that.

Cheating, Betrayal, Corruption and everything else is in place in the system. But good thing with our system is that it is still capable of surviving. There are many faces of the society. Financial, social and religion etc. We have everything but not good leadership. A good leader is the one who feels responsibility but not the one who just tries to save his face.

Mr Reddy has no personality of his own. He was never able to present himself as an individual power without Rajiv or Sonia gandhi etc. I wonder when Sonia grand children become elder enough Mr Reddy will change some district names of Andhra pradesh with their names.

Ofcourse Mr. Singh the great prime minister too, has no power. He is better fits as a Management & Finance faculty rather than a PM to a great nation like india.

A good leadership is something which understands the people and their sufferings and what is good for them and what is not!.

God, Provide us leaders. 1 billion is more than enough for us, now give us few leaders who can guide this billion not in terms of the increasing this billion to some more but in the quality of life and their welfare.

one more hectic week

This week, too has been bit hectic. Mostly of the trouble shooting. Though i was able to fix the issues immediately when i come across them, it was bit painful. we spent most of the time to just figure out what could have gone wrong.

At times it was too much boring, i didnt know what to do. so i saw part of anniyan movie in my system and also tried to listen to songs..

My Cardless headphones are working fine. It works with fine with computer/TV/audio devices but the FM is not coming properly. upto 10-15 meters we can easily walk around while still listening to songs. Thanks to my EOM gift voucher of landmark. I was curious to have FM working. it works for few minutes and goes mum for next few minutes.

YFiles support guys were of great help. they were quick to my mails in sorting out the issues. seems like the class loader of piie is having problem with relative path of the resource.

One surprise was there from Brian Wilkins of VA office. today morning there was a mail from him saying "goodbye". Bangalore office has less attrition rate now.

Kudos to these brave hearts

Today's news paper carried one special news item. Its was a brave act by 2 indian railway linemen. Who stopped Godavari Express(In Andhra Pradesh state, India), from being getting into danger with a destructed railway track because of floods. They literally saved hundreds of people.
They are Suryam and Chandraiah. Both are around 50. They made the train stop before the flood affected track. The train drivers backed the train. Unfortunately chandraiah didn nt identity the train coming back, and lost his life.

This guys have done a great job. Proved that ordinary people can do miracles when required. Kudos brave hearts.

How google works.. Informative Posted by Picasa

die without arguments..?

replacing an old image Posted by Picasa

I tried to keep a bigger image here, but its getting saved as smaller one. not interested to work on this image any more.

This week

There is some good rework in Link Analysis Tool code. Brandon's wednesday conf call gave us some new thought of how to handle the passage of mutliple object references to multiple classes. Instead of passing the object references through constructors to other classes which may need those reference while executing some other method. To make this our classes our making a local reference to the constructor parameters.
Brandon was talking of having singleton pattern work here.

Then we changed the source code, all the places. We created a singleton class, which could contain arraylist of all the passible objects that need to be referred in other classes. Each component now will have an ID, which will be passed to other classes. and when ever an object needs some reference to shared objects, it will look into the singleton class. ask it for the required object while giving the ID of the component.
This seems to be some good suggestion. we just tried it which looked working fine.

There were issues with PIIE, PSC was started throwing some exceptions, which we corrected later on. PSC is calling the constructor of the component which creating its component palette. so there was some null pointer exception. The component main class constructor is not having a valid ModuleAccessor (this is getting created during setupUI) so the DataModel is having invalid permissions(this is getting created during componnet main class constructor having invalid ModuleAccessor (i.e null) )

Other things we have done is to rename some of the classes according to the brandon's terminology.

One other thing happened in this week is that i was given best employee award for the month of June 2005, in the first ever Open House event of Digital Harbor,India.
Nothing great to it, but it remembers me, that i have miles to reach and i need to be more dedicated towards my goals. Some times i get disappointed because i am running short of time.

I have seen 2 movies this week, one is "WAR OF THE WORLDS". I saw it with suresh and his friend. I liked the sound effects of the hall. I think english movies we cant enjoy much in TV or computer with ordinary sound system.

Another movie i saw is "Circar". This Hindi movie of RGV is good one. I like the way RGV movies have been. He dares to do experiments. This movie has no masala, no songs no love.

Yah, i am scared about love. I dont know much why this particular behavior. migh be because i dont find much of sincere love around this world.
As somebody was saying "Gals look for rich guys. and Guys look for beautiful gals".
And this is becoming mostly true in most of the cases.

Irony is often we tend to define True love. Love should be having only one meaing in essence. there should not be any true love or false love. But the truth is getting lost in some cases.

Changing guys is now more easy for gals. and the same for guys. They look for temporary gains in relationships. Seems like once a guy/gal is done with all her/his experiments with opposite sex, then they might be going for thoughts of marriage.
It looks funny to think of this. But at the same time its dangerous too.
Not just because i am in my twenties but because the youth is the foundation of the country. we cant make a strong nation with youth having no seriousness in their own life. so I think of this some times, and this reflects in my blog too.

Regarding family, called home few times this week. Seems there are rains in Bhallan Pally.

Financially, i got one salary but immediate question i got after getting my salary was "when will i get next salary". Things are tough to manage. Managing family and finances are bit tough things. I am trying to compromise in certain aspects so as i can address my commitments.

I wanted to do java certification this month but when there are many things to manage , i always go for priority based things, and so i have no thoughts of java certification right now. let my finances come to some order then i will think of it.

I was thinking of buying some vehicle but again not sure of it. It might not be wise to for this step at this particular point of life. i might have to wait for few more months to invest something on myself.

Vacuum in life

I have been involving myself in work all the time, making sure that i dont have any effective free time. but seems like there is big vacuum in life, something is missing severely which i dont know. When i get time to myself, there is a big turbulance which i dont know, but getting me hurt a lot.

I am bit scared of being alone. I dont want to run away from myself. But i am trying to figure out what could be missing from me.

Any how the immediate run away solution is read more books, and get more tech stuff which could make me busy. Ofcourse this is just a workaround.

Net Beans

NetBeans seems to be really useful editor for java UI creation. what ever took so many days of toil previously today we were able to create in few hours. Its really interesting to see how to configure GridBagLayout.

Oka Oorilooo....

This weekend,I have seen a telugu movie, Oka Ooriloo.., a typical love story. where director seems wanted to touch a different angle of love, by killing the hero early second half of the movie.

I slept for 1 hour to get rid of the headache i bought for 30 rupees in srinivasa theatre,S.G.Palya, Bangalore.

I dont know much about love(might be because no body prefered me :-) ). I feel those who have somebody to love them are really lucky. just running around trees and hills and exchanging gifts is not love. True love is one which sustains are the burns and pains. How sweet it will be if somebody pats and stands with you in all your pains, when all the society is against you, and creating hurdles to you.

Give and take is not love, Its business. But unfortunately many will be wandering around give and take concept. For your birthday i will wish you and you wish me for my birthday... and if you dont, who ever wishes me is my beloved.. This is certainly not love, i am not sure whether this qualifies for friendship or lust or infatuation.

True love makes the people to bear any pain and to fight anybody. its not physical.or alteast i say its not physical love. its very much related with hearts.

Well, Other things i have done for this weekend are:

saturday i spent with my brother, sudharshan who was on his way to gandhigram.

and i went to my friend at IISC to clear my tax calculations.
